It is a space devoted to creative development, honest insight, and resources that help writers move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose. It’s important for me to connect with people on a deeper level. This is what our art asks of us.
At its heart, Ninth House Moon exists to support the writer’s deeper journey: strengthening the work on the page while also honoring the vision, intelligence, and courage it takes to create it.

Welcome to Ninth House Moon!
I’m a writer, educator, and guide for people who feel called to create meaningful work. I have felt the calling my whole life and struggled greatly at times on my journey. Ninth House Moon is my way of honoring the creative path within.
My background is in education and the language arts. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education in Secondary Language Arts from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s in Adult Education from Cleveland State University. For the last 20 years, this foundation has shaped the way I support writers: with clarity, structure, close reading, and thoughtful guidance. I have devoted my life to helping students better understand literature along with both their craft and their process.
Alongside my years of formal training, I live a deep inner life that often informs my creative work. I believe writing can be both an art and a way of understanding ourselves more clearly. That perspective quietly informs everything I create through Ninth House Moon, from guides and educational materials to the way I think about supporting writers with honesty and care.

What Shapes My Perspective
My perspective has been shaped by years of teaching and writing. Earning my degree in Secondary Language Arts gave me a strong foundation in reading, writing, communication, and literary analysis. My graduate work in Adult Education deepened my understanding of how people learn, grow, and engage meaningfully with complex material. Together, those experiences continue to shape the way I create resources and support writers in a way I would want to be supported.
What I Believe About Writing
I believe writing is one of the deepest ways we come to know ourselves and one another. Strong writing does more than communicate information. It reveals. It creates resonance. It gives shape to what might otherwise remain hidden. It connects us.
I also believe many writers do not need more noise because understanding the craft isn’t always the issue. They need better questions. Better frameworks. More honest support. They need someone who can help them see what is true on the page and what still needs to be strengthened.
That is the spirit in which Ninth House Moon was created. A place of substance, clarity, and meaningful creative development using tools you might not have thought about before.
